Privacy notice

This page explains which data we keep about you, why we do so, for how long, and how you can have it deleted.

What we keep

Your name, your phone number, your email address if you provide one, your license plate and vehicle details if you provide them, the times of your appointments and, if you signed up, your place on the waiting list.

We also keep short-lived security logs, including IP addresses, to help prevent abuse.

If you tick ‘Remember my details on this device’ when booking, your own device keeps your name, phone number and email address in a cookie. This data never forms a profile on our side, and you can remove it at any time via ‘Clear my details’ on the booking page.

Why we keep this data

To process your appointment and, if you are on the waiting list, to let you know as soon as time becomes available.

If you request a quote

If you request a quote through the form, we keep your name, your phone number, your email address if you provide one, your license plate and vehicle details, your description and the photos you send, to answer your request. A photo may show your license plate or something else that identifies you. We redraw every photo, smaller where needed, which removes location data and other hidden data from the file. We do not store an IP address with the request. After 90 days we delete the request and the photos from our system automatically; if you want this sooner, just ask, see below for how. A copy of your request, with the photos, is emailed to the owner's mailbox at our email provider. That copy is not deleted automatically after 90 days: the owner deletes it once your request has been handled, and right away if you ask. If you send something on WhatsApp, it is in the owner's WhatsApp as you sent it: the 90 days and the redrawing do not apply there. He deletes it if you ask.

Requests and photos are also in our backups: we keep the daily copy on our own server for 14 days, and an encrypted copy in another location for up to six months after they were deleted from our system. This also applies after a deletion request. If we ever restore a backup, we immediately delete again whatever you asked us to delete before.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for up to 2 years after your appointment.
